Hi, I'm Amy Dulan, and I've been coaching students around the world to ACT success for more than 20 years. My common-sense approach to test preparation and education combines a fun, interactive environment with sound theory and practical application.

As a 20+ year veteran of ACT prep, an ACT Certified Educator, and the co-author of "McGraw-Hill's ACT Elite," "McGraw-Hill's 10 ACT Practice Tests," "McGraw-Hill's Conquering the ACT" as well as numerous eBooks, I am uniquely positioned to help you start and scale your ACT tutoring business.
I first put my analytical skills and nurturing personality to work as an ACT and SAT coach after receiving a Psychology degree from Michigan State University in 1991. During forays into the corporate world over the next several years, I continued to tutor part-time, eventually helping to found Advantage Education in 1997 and ACT Classroom in 2020. I have worked with thousands of high school students and ACT tutors in both a private and classroom setting. My sense of humor and down-to-earth teaching style allow me to connect with my students and make learning fun.

Additionally, I have been an avid horsewoman for most of my life, which has taught me patience and perseverance. It has been said that horses make you honest, a sentiment that I take to heart. I understand that hard work yields positive results, and my most successful students are able to apply that theory to ACT preparation and performance.
